New Music Video: Billy y las Botas 2

Teachers and students have been begging me to make a sequel to Billy y las Botas since 2012.  

And although I definitely wanted to make a sequel, I didn't realize at the time just how much of a corner I had written myself into.  After all, how do you reunite a scarf and boots, both of whom are inanimate objects in the "human world", incapable of independent movement?

I didn't want to cheat.  As one of Pixar's rules state, "Coincidences to get characters into trouble are great; coincidences to get them out of it are cheating."

The answer finally came to me last year, and while I don't think it's what many of you are expecting, I think the wait will be worth it.  I suspect that this video will be much debated within your classes.

Oh, and I think you're really going to dig the song, too.

What is Billy y las Botas 2 about?

Billy, along with his best friend Gorro, set off on an impossible journey to find his long lost loves, Las Botas.  Billy has an unexpected and crazy plan that just might work.  Quizás.

Thanks for waiting so long for this video.  It's definitely been a journey to get it completed, but I hope you like the results.
