I
n 2003, I wrote a short story for my Spanish classes about a scarf that absolutely hated all other pieces of clothing. One day, he falls to the ground and meets a pair of boots. They fall in love, and everything is perfect -- that is, until the owner picks the scarf back up and puts him back on his neck. Billy and the boots are separated forever, but their love lives on.Of course, this song has very little to do with that story. It's just a chronicle of the daily adventures of Billy. It's also very useful for teaching IR (to go) in the preterite tense, and it serves as a good introduction to PARA (in order to).
